This is a weird situation for me but maybe I'm overthinking. Around the end of September this year my prior job was giving me a lot of issues and essentially trying to force me out of the job (call it Company A), and seemed like they were trying to find ways to fire me. My friend helped me get a job, which I was very thankful for and had started towards the end of November (Company B). Prior to him helping me get a new job, I had applied to several other places and had started the interview process there. I continued through their interviews even after starting the new job. Well, I actually just accepted one of the offers, which was far superior to what I'm currently doing (Company C).
So my possible issue is this: throughout the interview process I presented myself as still working at Company A. Will there be an issue with any kind of background check or job review where they see I ended end of November with Company A? Could they rescind the offer when they see I've been with Company B since then (now two weeks)? Should I even list Company B for them to check? If not it'll look like I stopped working at Company A end of November so there would be a few week gap. Company C wants me to start working mid-January.
I didn't make them aware of the new job only because I had started it while going through the interviews and didn't think it was relevant at the time.
Company B is a good place but not what I'm wanting as it turns out.
