For example it’s just dumb things. One coworker came up and said “when are you going to put ink in the back printer? It’s a running joke that you can’t even put ink in a printer when it’s low, we have been laughing for weeks” after he told me it took all of 5 seconds to complete. It’s not like he couldn’t have done it himself. Another example is getting yelled at Friday for not setting up a training I didn’t know about. I said “sorry I wasn’t aware I’ll set up now” and then heard her telling the only other lady in the office that me saying I didn’t know isn’t an excuse...then they both laughed and said how it’s so hard working with people that can’t do basic things. Then I just found out a project I had been doing for a month was for nothing because the techs can’t use PDFs on their iPads. I had no idea, got a call saying everyone’s been laughing about how I can’t even do a spreadsheet and that I didn’t know nobody has been using it. It wasn’t even my idea the boss told me to do it. Like wtf? Hard enough being a pandemic with most of the office at home. Seriously draining me. Full benefits though with 401k 50% match PLUS pension and full health insurance. I have 1 more year of college...should I stick it out? I have been here 8 months. I’m just a receptionist but you would think I’m a project manager with all the random stuff thrown at me.
