Is this going to ruin any chance I have of getting a job?

So I worked in the tourism industry. Which obviously isn’t doing well. I got laid off from my “real” job in June, and I got a temp job in September. I’m really thinking of quitting the temp job so I can move home and save money by living with my parents.

I just worry that if I have too much time out of the industry, that no one will hire me because my job experience isn’t “recent enough”. And people always getting concerned if you’re not at jobs for long.
