follow up

just wondering when i should follow up after i completed my final round (3rd) interview.

recruiter went on vacation the day i completed the 3rd interview, and they are coming back this week.

the hiring manager informed me that i would hear back when recruiter returns from vacation.

how long should i wait after the recruiter comes back before reaching out?

also someone else with the same recruiter got a job offer during the vacation, another hr person called them
