I recently left a retail sales job (cell phone sales) to pursue a “career” at a supermarket chain. It’s somewhat local, nothing like Walmart or Job Lots. The pay in management is good, close to 100k/year. I worked there previously and was actually asked to come back and decided to since sales isn’t for me. Anyone on here been in retail management for a long period of time (particularly grocery store management)? Not sure right now if I plan to stay here forever, but probably at least 5 years... save some money. Any advice you can give me would be good. I understand the hours are long and it’s not glorious. I’m more looking for is it a good job? Did you regret your time there? Thanks
