Lost my job in May due to COVID. Applied to many jobs, and one company/role/round of interviews was really awesome, and I was really excited about it. It involved relocating to another city about 2 hours away. I got along well with everyone I talked to there. When I was rejected, they called me and let me know it wasn't an easy decision and that they loved meeting me and it was a true pleasure etc. etc.
In the meantime, I accepted a job in August that I hate. I cried everyday for the first week, and still cry after work from time to time because I am really unhappy. Today I got an email from that other job, asking me if I would still be interested in working with them, as their other candidate did not work out.
Has anyone been in a situation like this? Do I give this place another chance, do I owe loyalty to this new job that I am so unhappy at? Thanks for any words!!
