A quick tip for finding legitimate remote jobs now (US)

If you’re looking for remote work, you’re probably using ‘remote’ in the ‘location’ field or as a keyword on whichever job site. Lots of MLMs and scams abuse the word ‘remote’.

Since COVID, the more common thing for legitimate companies to list these under are a blanket ‘United States’ as the job location, and typically may not even list ‘remote’ anywhere on the description.

That widened my options immensely, and although I wasn’t even necessarily looking for remote work was able to land a job in a major city that pays much higher than the typical Denver salary.
