Hello everyone. I'm currently working in an admin support role in a university. Said university also offers a program in publishing, which I'm planning to take in the next 3-4 years. I'm waiting because tuition remission will allow me to take classes with discounted tuition or no tuition cost at all. In addition, I want to wait until we can have in-person classes again.
I took creative writing in undergrad and is generally interested in (fiction) books from a young age, hence my interest in a publishing career.
But I'm hoping to get some insight into this career path from those who are or have worked there. What's it like? What did you like/dislike about it? Anything else you want to share is welcome as well.
