Im of the gender from Venus, late twenties (biological clocks everywhere :/ ). I'm really interested in the finance sector but had circumstances which prevented me from pursuing a MBA or a specialised finance course sooner.
Undergrad in Math (7.0 on 10) high school is 80%,
Current year - gap year of about 9 months Previous work exp. - 1.5 yrs - At a startup which suffered financial issues and closed down. (Experience is rich but negative effect of sinking with the ship). job search impscted by covid and even lower grade jobs sre offered because of a weak profile in this sector. 3 years - Different sector. Family business. 1 year - At a bank.
extra curriculars - won many events at college & for the past 5 years I have been volunteering at a non-profit (currently coordinating a large team of coordinators & the largest program of the non-profit).
Any strong pointers on what would strengthen my profile would be very helpful. I'm currently preparing for MBA exams in my home country and GMAT but highly worried about the scenario after getting in a college (job fairs where my profile will be very average) or if an MBA would even be a value add to my profile at this point in life.
TL;DR - Non-Engineer, Female, late twenties, Sporiadic career in the finance sector but want to pursue in this further and unsure what credentials are required for a strong profile?
