Should I let my manager know that I’ve been having a tough time mentally in my personal life?

I recently moved to a new city and still having trouble adjusting to my new life. Lately, I’ve been making idiotic mistakes at my new job that I could’ve easily prevented but I didn’t. It makes it look like I just don’t care, but I do.

Normally I’m not the person to make preventative mistakes and my references decided to highlight that. They all said that I don’t miss a single detail, how quick I am to solve problems, etc.

I’m wondering: should I bring this up to my new-ish manager or is this grounds to fire me? The last week or so have been good, but still struggling.
