I have a degree in Finance with no internship experience since i had to pay bills working as a bank supervisor for a Mom and pop western union service.
I helped out with year end taxes, western union compliance audits, and closing out the books daily.
I've been applying for well over a year now in any financial sector position that's related to my major, but i've gotten zero bites.
The only job interview I've gotten was a payroll clerk, or an accounts receivable specialist, and those only required a high school diploma. :c
Am i reaching too high trying to get an analyst/underwriter/jr compliance position?
