Salary Job Interview: expected 50+ Hours Weekly?

So I have a salaried job where I work 40 hours (+/-5) every week. I don't know where I've ever taken a "short week" without taking a long week before or after this.

A company I was interviewing with claims to have a "good work/life balance"... Of course this was immediately followed by "we rarely work more than 60 hours."

I always finish my work within my margin of hours so a few possibilities crossed my mind here.

Are these people working a laid back 50 hours?

Are they really that busy/over worked?

Is this a regular thing? Have I just been spoiled by my current job?
