Are passing typing tests that important???

Hi!!! So, I did my first typing test yesterday and I definitely failed as I was more focused on getting the spelling and grammar right rather than my speed.

I wasnt able to finish it in time, so I wanted know if I do perhaps fail this test is there no way I can even be considered for the job?

Has anyone been hired despite failing this part of the job assessment interview??
