I don't know whether it's my more call centre background, where every minute of the day would be flat out working until the phones stopped, but I am now in an office job and sometimes my workload is just .... Nothing for hours at a time. I find myself getting anxious. I just sit here and try not to be tempted to look at my phone (but then do it anyway) it stresses me out to do nothing. Though it's not really a job I can ask for more responsibilities, because the occasional day these duties will make me busy. Is anyone else in this boat? Does it worry them or is it normal for a non call centre/service industry job. Maybe it's something I just need to adjust too.

Does anyone else find it more stressful to have nothing to do at work?
