Picked the worst time in history to be unemployed for the first time in life. Left a very good PM job to move permanently to Oz. Beautiful country and great people but the job market... Been 8 months and absolutely nothing. Name a trick and I have tried them all. Professionally written resume. Done Custom resumes for each job. Done Apply in bulk to everything. Done Talk to consultants. Done. Be flexible. Done, applied entry level to director level roles.
The lack of responses, copy pasting the resume into a thousand different boxes and explaining why I am excited to be applying to random unknown companies.
Don't know what else to do. Tired. Hoping for some motivation and if there are any of my Australian mates here, any suggestions to get a break?
