Was offered a full time job after a phone interview but I'm not sure if I'm freaking out over potential red flags
Before I start I'm on my phone and I wasn't sure which flair to use.
I'm taking a gap year due to everything going on. I used to work as a barista so I either wanted a brista job or a kennel job at a vet's office.
I had a phone interview on Monday for a barista job at a new boba place. They told me some stuff about the company's background (not unusual). Then they started talking about wage. They asked me where I worked last and how much I got paid. I told them and that I got $9/hr + tip. Then they offered me a full time job without asking me any other questions and they want to give me $9/hr after 30 days. No typical questions like "what were your responsibilities" and "why did you quit your old job?" Training is 4 days (next Monday-Thursday) for 4 hours per day. Then soft opening next weekend. Then the store officially opens the weekend after that.
My friend's mom works in the HR department and interviews people, and she says it's hard to find reliable, competent people, it might be hard to find people during a pandemic, and they need to train me anyway so that's probably why they didn't ask me questions.
I want to see how everything goes because it's hard to find a full time job, but at the same time, it feels... bit rushed. I'm not sure if my friend's mom is right or if it's actually a red flag.
