retail experience?

im just wondering if my qualifications are considered as retail experience per se?

-so i've worked in my parents company, it's a trading company and it's a business-to-business company and my position there was a management associate. My main job was to learn that ins and outs of our business because they projected me to be next "boss" and inherit my parents' business. I've worked with our sales, hr department, i've done marketing presentations to clients, met with suppliers and pretty much talk to suppliers and clients through email and/or phone calls. Now, im looking for a part time job but since covid happened, part time jobs right are mostly retails like old navy brand associate, adidas brand associate, h&m associates, etc. Now im wondering if my qualifications or my work experience are considered as "retail experience". I've done research on what does retail experience means and it says that "Retail experience can translate to a variety of skills used in management, finance, sales and customer service. Interacting with customers translates to interpersonal skills; most job categories require some level of customer care or interaction with colleagues."

Were my work experience considered as "retail" experience?
