I’m not entirely sure how applications work

I’ve been trying to get a job at this King Soopers for a while. I submitted an application around December. And I’ve checked every month after word and that job application is still open. But every time I try to apply to it, it says that I have her application already submitted. But I haven’t gotten any response. What do I do exactly? I submitted the application half a year ago and the opening isStill there apparently. Am I unable to resubmit an application or do I just ask them about it and say that I said in an application half a year ago.
