How to leave on short notice?

Hello just dropping by to ask how to leave an employer on short notice, they did reach out to me but unfortunately I did not check my email until today and was emailed on Friday about being asked when can I come back. For context, I have been working at this place for over a year but March was the last time I was physically working. What would be a nice email to basically say hey I’m quitting effective immediately sorry for the short notice it’s been a tough decision for me. Realistically, would it burn my bridge and my time working there? Would it be better to give two weeks via email but considering the fact that I wouldn’t step foot back in anyway would it matter? (I now have a new job starting sooner than two weeks)
