Hello!
I’ve posted on here before, however I think this is the last straw for me. My manager has given my days to the new employees (who have been working there for a few months) and has only scheduled me one day a week now. I am furious. I get people need to work but I’ve told him my situation, that my rent was raised, that I was kicked out and let back in, that I needed more hours to make rent or I’ll be kicked out again. He’s our ‘new’ manager but he has been working there since the beginning at another location (it’s a local restaurant chain). While working with him, yes I’ve made a few mistakes but honestly? It was his mistakes that he blamed me for because him and I don’t work good together at all.
I know it would be stupid to quit during Covid since the economy isn’t the best, but I’ve applied to a few jobs and if they take me, I’m going and quitting this job. I thought I’d have this job until I graduated my undergrad but this new manager is purposely doing this to me.
What do you all think is the best option?
