Grievance on backpay?

How far back can I file a grievance on back pay?

I was contacted by employer to do work while I was on maternity leave in 2017. Can I claim backpay for these times? Throughout the years that I worked for them, 2015- 2020, they also occasionally asked me to work OT/weekends, can I claim these hours now?

I’m in CA, the position was presented by Teamsters. I keep all my records of them asking me to work.

Also, how demanding and time consuming this process will look like? I’m at a better place in my life and don’t want to waste time with those who abused me. But I’m so upset thinking about how much they abused me, and I want it states on record somewhere that they abused me.
