I had my first interview today and it was a phone interview. It was a panel of 3 people. They asked me 4 basic first interview questions. I thought I did pretty well.
At the end they described the next interview steps. “We still have to interview a few candidates, but the next step would be an interview with the team with a webcam”. They then asked me if I had a webcam for in the event that I would move forward.
Is it just me or is that a sign that they want me for a 2nd interview? Maybe I’m optimistic but I would think usually they wouldn’t say anything about the 2nd interview until they know who they want and then put that information in email when they invite the candidates?
Am I just being optimistic or do you agree that it’s a sign they liked me and want to move forward.
