Hi all,
I made a post about a week ago and got great advice here.
https://www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/hksfqt/how_to_cope_with_a_year_of_looking_for_a_job/
I recently was able to get a phone screen and I honestly felt really good about it, was told my resume would be sent to hiring manager. Never heard after a week even with followup for update (HR told me she get back to me within a week...taking it as a loss.) Anyway I graduated in March 2019 with a degree in Statistics. Im thinking it might be a good idea to change my graduation date on my resume and would like to get an opinion, currently it reads as
Graduated: March 2019. (Technically I graduated March 22, 2019 in Winter quarter)
Would it look better for it to read as:
Graduated in 2019
or
Graduated: Spring 2019 (technically spring started in March 20, 2019 so not technically lying)
I feel like HR are willing to give me chances for interviews, (since I was able to get a phone screen last week) and its the hiring managers that pay attention to my graduation date and pass on moving me forward.
