Applying for a job twice after not getting an interview

Hey everyone, I applied for a teaching job two weeks today and haven't received an interview and I don't think I will. I had someone revise my resume and it looks a lot better, and I think that's the reason I didn't get an interview. Would it be weird/desperate to reapply?
