Hi there. We’re moving across the country, literally CA to CT, for my husband’s work. We already have an apartment lined up (so I have an address there) and know that we will be there by mid-July for sure.
I have a science background and previous lab jobs so I’ll be looking for something similar to that. My question is how soon should I begin applying? I see positions that I’m interested in and it stresses me out to think about not having a job lined up, but when I moved to CA and was applying 1-2 months ahead of time, any calls I got where I explained the situation basically ended in them looking for someone to start sooner.
Is now too early to apply for jobs there, or is this something I could address in my cover letter (not that those actually get read lol). Thanks in advance for any advice!
