I currently work as a backserver at a local restaurant and want to quit... but also don’t. One of the main reasons I want to quit is that my manager is a little bit of a dick. Well he is actually an extreme dick but that’s besides the point. The business is really slow right now due to covid so after tips I’m probably making around 20 an hour. I want to find a different job with better hours and similar pay but am not to sure what. I’m 18 and just graduated high school. I’m going to college so I only need a summer job but I don’t really want a job where I’m making minimum wage since I would make more just suffering the abuse at the restaurant however, it’s not enjoyable. I have a 3.5 gpa and have other job experience as well as been active in my school with sports and clubs and such so my resume is fairly decent for my age. I would love some suggestions.
