I'm doing an unpaid internship in my field (cs) and so far it's just resume padding. I haven't learnt anything and its just manual stuff I could've done when I was 11. It's a startup. they have a 1.5-hr meeting everyday but they just discuss things that would be much faster to just post in a document. I'm always thinking I have so many opportunities to learn cs online while I'm wasting my time on these meetings, then more time doing work that doesn't benefit me. Where I live, unpaid internships are illegal unless its mainly for the benefit of the student. I'm not gaining anything from the meetings. Should I tell them I don't want to participate in them? or should I just suck it up for the next 3 months. I don't wanna lose my job because its the only job related to my field on my resume. How do I go about discussing this?
a part of me thinks I'm being super ungrateful
