Settle with a bad first job offer or keep looking/stay unemployed???

So I graduated undergrad a semester early back in December with an Economics degree and have been struggling to find a job ever since. Out of the nearly 300 job apps I sent out, only about 20 responded with an interview invite. Out of the 20 interviews, I only managed to get ~5~ second round interviews.

Last week, I managed to get an offer in an entry level sales role at a mortgage company with a very low base salary/hourly rate ($27,000 base/$13 per hr). My dilemma now is whether to just settle and accept the job offer, use it as extra experience while actively searching for better opportunities, or risk getting typecast as a "sales" person and possibly getting offered something better in the near future and regret settling too soon. It also makes me really depressed knowing that I actually made more per hour at my internship last summer..but luckily I will be able to save up the small amount I'll be earning as I'll be living at home with my parents.

Recently, I've almost completely given up on jobs in industries related to what really interests me as all of them have ended up in rejection or no response from the companies.. :( Plus, the pandemic has made the process even more frustrating with hiring freezes.

I need to make a decision ASAP because the job starts in 2 weeks and I'm sure they want me to sign the employment contracts within the next few days!
