Resignation guilt for resigning during furlough

TL;DR I found a new job that offers me so much more and I'm conflicted about resigning while on furlough leave.

So I've been working for my current company for the last 3 years and I love my work, the company has allowed me to be flexible with my hours so I could study for my master's degree (I fully paid for this myself, the company just allowed me the time). I get to work with some seriously interesting bits of kit which keeps the job intetesting.

However

Ever since I started studying for my master's I feel like I've been shunned by my colleagues, very rarely invited out for work nights out, overworked by planning managers and given little to no appreciation when I've sacrificed evenings and weekends to help when they were busy. All in all I've not been happy for quite some time

I was recently head hunted for role at one of the big names in the aerosoace industry and the job is everything I want and need for my career right now. The work will be challenging but rewarding, the benefits package is extremely attractive, and there's unbridled scope for progression within the company. Genuinely I couldn't be happier with the role and the prospects this offers.

So why am I feeling so guilty about handing my resignation in? I feel like I'm betraying my current company who have allowed me to complete my studies, and resigning while on Furlough (in the uk) just seems really sneaky. Being on fulough leave means my resignation has to be handed in via email (due to uk government work restrictions during this bs pandemic).

Thanks
