I’ve made it through to the third round interview for a great job. I’m feeling very lucky and grateful that my industry and this job is still interviewing and hiring with everything going on. I’ve been through multiple rounds of interviews before, but never three. The first was with the recruiter, and she asked generic HR questions. She recommended me to the 2nd round. The second interview was with the operations/hiring manager (who id be reporting to) and the area manager (who the operations/hiring manager reports to). It went great and I’ve been invited to another round of the interview process. Normally the second and third round interviews would be in person, but, coronavirus.
So this third round will be over Skype, and I’ll be interviewing with the operations/hiring and area managers again like I did in the second round, as well as the senior project manager and the business operations manager, both people I’d be working closely with in this position. They gave me a basic promotional brochure about the division within the company for me to read through, as well as a list of four questions to have prepared answers to. 3 out of the 4 were customer service oriented, basically to gauge how I’d handle and react to different situations and customers, and the 4th is a little more technical but is just asking me to explain how one of their services works.
Should I be expecting more questions? Will this get more technical and formal? The company has a recruiting page and for this round of interviews they explain that the purpose is to “assess the potential for future collaboration” and to give more of an insight as to what working with them is like. But the questions and brochure are throwing me off. I definitely feel like I’m overthinking it, because I want this job. Badly. This would be a massive step forward for my career
