I feel incredibly stupid for asking this, but I'm sick of banging my head against the wall. I'm in a high-level position at a very small startup. My job barely had a proper description to start with, and after eight months it's grown to a wide and erratic range of duties, some of which have no clear metrics for success (that I can see).
It's a bad fit for many reasons, and I'm ready to update my resume for what I know will be a long search, but I'm really struggling on how to add this position. Is there some kind of help available somewhere that would let me like... talk about my job and have someone translate it into resume-ese for me? I know resume writers are a thing, but I've heard mixed reviews, and I don't need the whole thing done -- just this one piece.
