I work at a small company the previous leads/supervisors all quit. So I was tasked to take over all duties. Like shift reports on boarding etc. all while not getting compensated at all for it. I brought things to my manager attention on getting the position, but he gave me the run around. Until recently we got a new employee and my boss tells me he’s my new lead. And that I have to train him. I expressed to him how i can’t do that, I fully respect the new guy it isn’t his fault. But I still feel it isn’t my job to train the new lead my boss expressed to me that I’m the best at what I do, and I’m the only on who knows how to do things effectively so I must train him. It’s very hard to find a new job right now based on the circumstances in the world. So I’m basically stuck. Any ideas on what I should do?
