It’s all about the money.

Please tell me if this is the wrong subreddit and direct me to the right one. Thanks

I find myself completely eradicating job sectors and job ideas every time I stumble upon a new one because of one issue.

I’m 15 and I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to be or do when I graduate which will be in 4 years. I do tons of research and searching around on the internet about salaries, sectors, tons of stuff and I have a problem. I base every job on the salary or how much it pays. If it is below 70-80k a year, I completely get out of it. Of course, this is a huge problem. When I get older I want to make 90-100k a year or more. I know I definitely won’t start off with that and it will probably take a decade with any job to get to that amount.

I do tons of physical labor and chores around the house, even help build projects and such. Construction is something that really interests me but the money is kind of low. I realize that everybody with an office job or inside jobs makes the most money nowadays and the laborers could work their way up but that would take probably 2 decades worth of promotions and such to reach a very comfortable salary.

Some salaries I’ve stumbled across.

-Engineering (not that good at math but I haven’t really had my fair share of math courses yet as I’m only in the 9th grade.)

-Medical

-Construction management

-HR(My grandma makes close to 110k for her retirement and she spent 38 years in HR with only an associates.)

I don’t know.. Construction management or HR would be my best bet but they’re both office jobs and construction management I’ve heard involves difficult math.

Thanks for reading and please comment suggestions or ideas.
