Is it okay to do this? Is there a correct way to approach this? I have begun my job search again after my 1 year program in China (I’m from the Us) was cut short due to the virus. I found two different positions at the same place, it’s a university. I am qualified for both. I am more interested in one of the positions and have applied for only that one so far. Should I go ahead and apply to the second and mention the first position in my cover letter? Should I reach out to the contact person with my question?
