Updating my resume

I am updating my resume to include my current job. Since starting this job, I have been promoted once. The higher up position that I am in right now is basically a continuation of my previous responsibilities plus a few more specific responsibilities.

I am trying to determine how to document this on my resume. I am wondering if the below format is correct? Any insight is greatly appreciated!!

Position B (this is my current job) -Continuation of responsibilities described in Position A (should I actually say exactly this? I’m not sure how to word this concept on a resume in a professional way) -list specific duties of new position

Position A -list duties of position A, that are also relevant for position B
