I'm interested in applying for a job doing database work utilizing primarily SQL which I've never done before, but I have done HTML/CSS and some very basic Javascript before. I didn't find it to be too impossible and the skill sets are vaguely similar (although I know SQL is quite different from using HTML/CSS).
Should I just lie on my resume and say I have SQL skills and then learn them as quickly as possible before a potential interview? Or would it be better to be honest and say that I don't have any prior SQL experience, but am willing to work hard to learn? I feel kind of bad about lying on my resume, but feel like I won't even get an interview without embellishing.

Should I lie and say I have SQL skills I don't have yet or be honest?
