Is it a good idea to lie about a particular software experience

Is it a good idea to lie about a particular software experience on your resume despite having a decade of experience in a similar software? For example, I have spent ten years in MailChimp but unable to obtain another role with their requirements in Marketo. What will happen if they find out I do not have the required skill on my first day? Marketo is an Enterprise software and does not have a free version to learn from. Any advice?
