I'm in healthcare tech industry. I moved across the country to NY for the job at a very prominent company. After six months of being there, I was one of the first people to be let go by "position elimination" in order to save the company during the pandemic. On the side note, I know for a fact that I was getting paid~$20K plus $30K guarantee bonus more than peers because HR and director didn't want to "lose" me when I pressed for a higher pay during negotiation. This makes me think I was let go due to being new and having a higher pay. Maybe I'm trying to make myself feel better. I am now trying to work on my resume to start looking for work that doesn't seem to be available until the summer due to the pandemic. But I want to be prepared and start searching regardless of the situation. How do I address this short term stay on my resume?
