tl;dr: Need some encouragement / tips for meeting with Managing Director, VP, Controller
Had an HR person from a CRE Fortune 500 Company contact me about an open position (portfolio accounting). I actually ignored his e-mail at first because I thought it was fake - what would a Fortune 500 company want with me?! He followed up, I googled him, he seemed legit, so I e-mailed him back.
We had a quick 15 minute phone interview where I went through my work experience. I didn't think I did well, thought I was boring - I'm normally more sociable, peppy.
I guess he liked me anyway and has me come in for a 2 hour interview on-site with 4 different people - these would be the people I would be working with on a day-to-day basis. We went through my work history again and was also able to share some personal things outside of work I'm interested in. All in all, I thought it went really well; I was able to show my personality, laughed a lot.
HR e-mails me an hour after my interview, told me everyone said they loved meeting me and he wants me come in again for a 1.5 hour interview with the higher ups. He sent me a list of the people I'd be interviewing with, I googled them: two controllers, a senior VP, and the Managing Director. This is where I start to get nervous. I've worked in small businesses my entire career so this will be a HUGE jump.
What should I expect from this second interview? Because I'm meeting with the higher ups, does this mean I have it in the bag? Will this be a more technical interview? Or a personality fit?
