Hi so I’m in a bad situation at my current job. I have essentially an adult bully who is my coworker and she targets me for theses tantrums and rants and makes snide comments about me or my work when she knows I can hear her. I have talked to multiple managers about it and no one will do anything they just give me suggestions on different ways to handle her behavior. All of which have made it worse. I have multiple witnesses to this and I’m not the first person who’s had these problems with her. I would go to HR but the HR director is buddy buddy with this person and that makes me uncomfortable. I’ve started applying to other jobs near where my parents live which is clear on the other side of the country. What do I say of I get asked why I’m leaving my job after only 8 months? This is also my first job out of college so I’m worried it will look like I’m flakey and not dedicated.
