Asking for my partner. Worked for company for 17 years. Never been reprimanded or put onto corrective action plan. Has been the top of his peers continuously. Promoted and position was eliminated 6 months later. Passed upon for lateral position. Passed upon for promotion. Offered pay cut and relocation/demotion. Severance offer should be coming soon. What’s the typical offerings? Also should my partner negotiate?
