I am 31w pregnant, working part time as a housekeeper. I have been in this job for almost 3 years and I want to make a change after the baby arrives in April. We are also looking at moving to a town about 45 minutes away from our current location when our lease is up in September, so ideally I would find a job in that general area opposed to my current area.
I've been checking job boards pretty regularly to see what kind of options I'd have for my ideal career (phlebotomy or pharmacy tech; these are the two main things I'm interested in and qualified for), but I do not know if I should be applying and accepting interviews right now. If not, when should I start? I will only be taking 6-8 weeks after the baby, so I'd be looking to start working again sometime in June/maybe July.
This whole process has been overwhelming (pregnant, job change, move) so any advice would be appreciated. Hoping to gain some insight and how best to approach this!
