After searching and searching for regular jobs and ultimately failing I immediately hopped on the first yes that just happened to be a temp job. I’m currently working as a leasing consultant temp for an apartment complex and some of my coworkers treat me with respect but the majority ignore me, give me side smiles, and are just uninterested in training me, interacting with me, and don’t even bother to know what my name is.
I’m not complaining about the job because I’m basically getting paid to do nothing. The majority of the day I’m just sitting on my phone or doing menial filing and the rare occasion I’m given an actual task to walk about the apartment complex and deliver mail, audits, etc.

Is it common to be treated like trash by your “co-workers” when working as a temp?
