I'm am considering taking a new position within my agency with a 40 mile commute from where I live. Right now I commute about 17 miles every day. The position would pay the same, but it is a much less stressful position with not as much overtime. I don't mind overtime every now and then, but right now where I am at I'm doing mandatory overtime almost every day. The only problem I have is the long commute, I considered moving closer to the area, but the new position is outside the city in an area with nothing to do and a population less than 1500 people. What do you think?
