I’m having trouble with get along it’s my new boss

I recently started an Staff Accountant role at a Healthcare company. The Senior Accountant who I report to is very strict. There are a lot of information to process and learn each day. At my job, I try my best to ask questions, take notes, and remember all of this. However, my Senior Manager finds a mistake in my work or I don’t understand something after he does it, he goes completely nuts and gives me an attitude and embarrass me in front of the other coworkers. He expects me to master all of this after he explains it to me. But he’s been here with the company for years so he obviously understand all of this more that I do. I just started 2 weeks and makes me a complete fool. When he does this, it gives me an panic attack and I can’t think straight/correctly.

I’m afraid to tell this to him or someone higher up/HR because it’s kind of embarrassing and I don’t want to be a burden to him or others. I want to make a good first impression to everyone (which is ruined) and not be someone who can be easily replaceable. Also, knowing him by know, his response would, “WHY ARE YOU AFRAID LEARNING NEW THINGS!!!!” or “WHY DO YOU GET PANIC ATTACK! IM EXPLAINING THIS TO YOU CLEARLY! ITS YOUR FAULT!”

I obviously don’t want to quit and I know I’m going to understand all of this after a while. But as of right now, I don’t really know what to do. I am feeling really stressed out and sad right now :(
