I feel stuck trying to change careers.

So I've spent the last 6 years as a Car Audio Technician. Wasn't a bad job, but over the last few months I've grown to really dislike the job, to the point where it's a struggle to get out of bed to go to work every day.

I've been looking at project management (as it's the only relevant experience I have from my car audio career, minus sales (which I really don't like)). I have a CompTIA project management certification that I got through my degree as well.

My biggest struggle are my bills. Unfortunately over the last two years I've accrued some medical debt, which I've been paying on top of my student loans. This has left me struggling to find jobs I'm qualified for as most of the entry level stuff starts off in about the 40k range. I've done all I can to minimize other my expenses but I'd need something near 55k to pay my bills (and still probably need a second job as well).

So what should I do? Keep looking for a job in a salary range that I can afford to live at? Stay at my current job for the next few years until I can afford to take the kind of pay cut a new career is going to bring?
