Had screening with interviewer for a sales job selling capital equipment. She told me the base salary and it is LOW, like not enough to pay rent low. I made the assumption that there was a base salary along with expenses being paid and mileage reimbursement so I decided to move forward in the interview process.
However, after doing the math, the mileage reimbursement with the expense reimbursement added together equal the annual salary initially disclosed up front.
If my salary is, in fact, the reimbursements added together, can I renegotiate despite approving of the initial disclosed salary?
