Best way to find a job

I'm college student with no experience, only worked at a factory which my mom hooked me up with, and Chipotle which i got fired within my first 90 days. I have no volunteer experience either. Is it better for me to look for jobs online or in person, i hate going in person just for the to tell me to apply online. Whats the best way to get a part time job for a loser like me that isn't a factory job, i cant physically handle them.
