When applying to a M-F job over the weekend, should I send applications in as I do them, or should I wait until Monday morning to rapid fire them all out?

This may or may not be relevant to tomorrow. I've heard sending it in over the weekend is a waste, and I've heard that sending them in in the morning when the hiring person is there is a great tactic. Are those true, and/or do they interact to make Monday morning the best option?
