Should I resend my resume to include contracted employment information?

I recently applied to a position I believe I have a good shot at. After reaching out to the HR coordinator of the role, they told me they forwarded my application on to the hiring team and they will reach out to me if they choose me for an interview. Just recently, a friend of mine who is an HR coordinator themselves said one of their biggest red flags is seeing employment for less than 6 months, save for contracted roles. I am in a contracted position currently, but haven’t included that info on my current resume, only the usual stuff (position, time span, responsibilities). Should I resend my resume to the HR coordinator to inform them of this information? My gut says no, considering I haven’t left my current role yet. I don’t want to annoy HR with multiple emails. Conversely, I don’t want this short period of current employment to be my downfall (~4 months for me). What do you think I should do?
